Enhanced Payroll Dashboard experience in the Employment Hero Work App

From 24th February 2026, Payroll users on EH Work will begin receiving an updated Home Dashboard experience as part of a phased rollout.

This update introduces a modern, streamlined dashboard that improves visibility of key tasks, enhances navigation, and creates a more intuitive mobile experience for Payroll users and managers.

There are no changes to core Payroll functionality or approval logic. This is an experience and navigation enhancement.

What is changing?

1. Enhanced Dashboard Features

The new Payroll Home Dashboard includes:

  • Quicklinks for faster access to key areas
  • A shifts widget for better visibility of upcoming shifts
  • An enhanced Clock In / Clock Out experience (Dynamic CICO)
  • A sticky header to maintain context while scrolling
  • An improved bottom navigation bar for easier access to core mini-apps

2. Improved Visibility for Payroll Managers

Payroll managers will see To-Do summary cards on their Home Dashboard, including tasks such as:

  • Timesheets, Leave Requests and Explain Claims to approve

These cards:

  • Highlight outstanding actions
  • Deep-link directly into the relevant area of the app
  • Help reduce missed or delayed approvals
