Your Employment Hero Work app's Work account gives you the opportunity to manage your personal information, account settings and notification settings from the convenience of your mobile device.
Below are the instructions for managing My Profile and Notifications.
Important
You need to set up your profile on your company's HRIS connection before downloading the application. Once you have created your profile, you can access Work through the Employment Hero Work app.
Get set up with Employment Hero Work
At the beginning of your employment, your employer sends an email to create an HRIS account. This lets you digitally view and manage important HR aspects of your role such as your personal tax and superannuation details, leave, pay slips, policies and more.
- In the email sent to you by your employer inviting you to your company's HRIS connection, click the link in the email to set up your employee account.
- Search Employment Hero Work in the App Store for iPhone users, or the Google Play Store for Android users, or click the following based on your device:
iOS/iPhone
Android
- Log into the app using the same login credentials created on your company's HRIS connection and create a password.
Managing Notifications
The Notification Feed in the Employment Hero Work app allows you to view push notifications from your company. This feature not only lets you see what notifications you receive, but you can also click on a notification and the app takes you to the relevant feature to view the updated information.
Viewing your Notifications
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Along the top bar, tap on the bell icon to view notifications. If you have a red dot next to your bell icon, that means that you have new notifications to view.
- Tap on the desired notification to view further details.
If you wish to control when you receive notifications, follow the below directions.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile photo.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Notification Settings.
- Use the following fields to customise your notifications.
Send me notifications only:- From.
- To.
- Day of the week. Click Save.
Managing My Profile
If you are the manager or an employee of multiple organisations, you can switch between organisations in Work.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap the current organisation name.
- Tap on your desired organisation.
In the My Profile section, you can add a personal biography/overview, your personal and information, and you can view your employment history, view your uploaded HR documents, and view other uploaded documents that you have previously added and uploaded to your company's HRIS connection.
Add Biography/Overview
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture icon.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap See more.
- Add your About me, your company email, and your company mobile, then tap Save.
Add Personal and contact information
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap Personal Details.
- Tap Edit.
- Add the following details:
- Account email (required field)
- First name (required field)
- Middle name
- Last name (required field)
- Preferred name
- Gender
- Address Country (required field)
- Address line 1 (required field)
- Address line 2
- City/Town (required field)
- State/Province (required field)
- Postcode (required field)
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Martial status
- Personal email (required field)
- Personal mobile number
- Home phone
- Once you have added these details, tap Save.
Viewing your Employment History
Helpful Hint
You are only able to view your employment history in Work. If you want to add employment history, you need to do this on your company's HRIS connection.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap Employment History.
View uploaded documents
Helpful Hint
You are only able to view your previously uploaded documents in Work. If you want to add documents, you need to do this on your company's HRIS connection.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap Uploaded Documents.
View HR documents
Helpful Hint
You are only able to view your previously uploaded HR documents in Work. If you want to add HR documents, you need to do this on your company's HRIS connection.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap HR Documents.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap on Staff Directory.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap on Settings.

Here you can access your Face ID, Language, Time Zone and Notification Settings. If you want to control your Notification Settings, tap Notification Settings.
Here you can choose to receive notifications:- From
- To
- Days of the week
Once you have chosen your settings, tap Save.
You can read your Employment Hero Work app terms and conditions, the Employment Hero Work app privacy policy and the Benefits terms and conditions.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap on T&Cs and Privacy Policy.
- Tap on Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy or Benefits Terms and Conditions to read.
- Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
- Tap on the Work icon.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap on Log Out.
- Confirm that you wish to log out by tapping on Log Out.
