What happened on 1 December 2025 in EH Work?
We are launching a new Home Dashboard experience for HR and HR+Payroll customers. It includes multiple usability improvements, all designed to bring high-usage features into one central place and help managers and employees save time and complete daily tasks more efficiently.
What widgets are included in the new experience?
Widgets include Quick Actions, Clock in Clock Out with Geofencing (if the organisation has this enabled), the Global Header, My Leave, New Shifts Widget, Announcements, Tasks for Manager Approvals, and an Enhanced Search Tool.
Who will see the new experience?
From 1st December 2025, only HR or HR+Payroll organisations will see the new experience. A phased rollout will happen for iOS and Android users over 2 weeks. This means some users will receive the update on 1st December 2025, and others as late as 2 weeks later. All rollout is now complete.
Will Payroll-only or EH Work Beta (“HR PY Experience in-app”) customers see the changes?
No, payroll-only and EH Work Beta users will stay on the current experience. However, future enhancements are planned for them.
For clarity, EH Work Beta users are organisations that have enabled the “HR PY Experience in-app” beta feature in the HR Platform.
What is the Home Dashboard in EH Work?
The Home Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open the EH Work app. It brings together your most important information and actions so you can get things done quickly without navigating to each section separately.
What's on the Home Dashboard?
Global Header: Appears at the top of every screen in the app. It includes: Organisation switcher, Global search, Notifications, and your profile.
Quick Actions (Quicklinks): Fast shortcuts to features you use most, including timesheets, leave requests, and workforce visibility. Your organisation may have different quicklinks enabled depending on your role.
My Leave: Your leave balances at a glance. Annual Leave appears first, followed by Sick/Personal Leave, then other leave types. Tap any balance card or the arrow to go to the full Leave tab. Sensitive leave types (such as Domestic Violence Leave) do not appear here.
Tasks (for managers): Pending approvals for leave, timesheets, and expenses — take action directly from the Home Dashboard without navigating to each area separately.
Shifts Widget: Shows your upcoming shifts for the next seven days.
Clock In / Clock Out: Available when your organisation has clock-in enabled. If your organisation uses rosters, the widget shows your next scheduled shift. If not, it shows a Clock In button.
Announcements: Company-wide updates from your HR team.
Bottom navigation bar: Persistent navigation across Home, Work, Money, Perks, and Career.
Who can see the Home Dashboard?
All EH Work users — HR, HR+Payroll, and Payroll-only — have the current Home Dashboard experience. The update is fully rolled out to all users.
Can I customise what I see on the Home Dashboard?
The widgets and quicklinks on your Home Dashboard are determined by your organisation's settings and your role. Some features (such as Clock In/Out, Workforce Visibility, and Shifts) are only visible if your organisation has them enabled.
