Earned Wage Access (EWA) allows you to receive your wages before your scheduled payday. Instead of waiting for the traditional bi-weekly or monthly paycheck, you can access your hard-earned money when you need it most.
With EWA, you have the flexibility to schedule your earnings to be paid out when you need it. This service can be particularly beneficial in managing unexpected expenses, providing financial stability, and giving you greater control over your finances.

Schedule EWA payments
How to instantly access EWA
- Log into the EH Work app
- Tap the Money icon.
- Tap the Income tab along the top bar.
- Choose how much of your earned wages you would like to access.
- Tap the Withdraw Now button.
- Choose which of your accounts you would like to send your earned wages.
- Tap Next.
- Once your earned wage access request has been processed, you will see this screen. Tap Done to return to the Money home screen.
Helpful Hint
Your funds will reach your chosen account within 2 hours of your request.
How to schedule recurring payments for your earned wages
- Log into the EH Work app.
- Tap the Money icon.
- Tap the Income tab.
- Tap the Recurring button.
- Set a withdrawal amount. You can choose a custom amount by clicking Other.
- You will see a How it works screen, which will explain when you can receive your chosen amount. Click Got it to return to your earned wages screen.
- Tap the Withdraw button.
- Check the amount you will receive.
- Check the account into which the money will be paid. You can tap on the account to change it if required.
- Click Next.
- Tap Confirm.
Edit or cancel Earned Wage Access (EWA) payments
How to edit a recurring payment
- Log into the EH Work app.
- Tap the Money icon.
- Tap the Income tab.
- Tap the Recurring button.
- Tap Edit.
- Set a new withdrawal amount.
- Check the account into which the money will be paid. You can tap on the account to change it if required.
- Tap Update.
How to cancel recurring payments
- Log into the EH Work app.
- Tap the Money icon.
- Tap the Income tab.
- Tap on Manage.
- Tap Cancel recurring withdrawal.
- Tap Yes, cancel.
- Tap the reason you want to cancel recurring withdrawals, then tap Submit.
Notifications and payment history
Manage EWA push notifications for recurring payments
- Log into the EH Work app.
- Tap the Money icon.
- Tap the Income tab.
- Click the Recurring tab.
- Tap on Manage.
- Tap on Notifications.
- Toggle notifications on or off using the Notifications toggle.
- You will then have the option to turn on/off Successful Payments. The successful payment notifications will trigger whenever a scheduled transaction is successful.
View payment history
- Log into the EH Work app.
- Tap the Money icon.
- Tap the Income tab.
- Tap on Manage.
- Tap on Earned pay history.
- Here you can view your previous EWA transactions.
